What are the effects of incorrect procedure?
- Applying the wrong sand will effect pitch drainage. Always use a round sand, not a building or sharp sand.
- By hand, using powered and hand driven top dressers and lutes, straight edges to work into the surface.
- Always use the same sand type to avoid creating layers in the pitch.
