What is RFU Rugby Grounds Connected?

Rugby Grounds Connected (RGC) is an easy access, two-way communication network between the RFU and rugby union grounds people. It is the main communication channel for the RFU to provide information and advice to grounds people and has special offers and exclusive benefits for members. Everything the RFU does with relation to pitch maintenance comes under the banner of Rugby Grounds Connected.

RGC
Who is it for?

RGC is for anybody that has any involvement in the upkeep of rugby pitches. Complete novice to Premiership grounds people.

How do you sign up?

Anyone can register to join RGC at no cost. Registration is by email to RFURugbyGrounds@rfu.com

Once signed up they will receive regular communications with advice, information and the opportunity to ask questions.

What are the main benefits of signing up?

• Members will have a direct communication channel with Twickenham Grounds Team, Pitch Advisors and other RFU staff on pitch maintenance issues
• All visits by Pitch Advisors, Jim Buttar and Keith Kent will be channelled to clubs who have a groundsman registered with RGC.
• The RFU Equipment Package discount will only be available to clubs who have a grounds person registered with RGC.
• Free access to local and regional RFU pitch maintenance events and workshops will only be available to clubs who have a grounds person registered with RGC.
• Access to any discount from industry partners will only be available to clubs who have a grounds person registered with RGC.
• Access to RFU Pitch Contractor Partnership maintenance contractors will only be available to clubs who have a grounds person registered with RGC.
• RFU/RFF funding for pitch improvement projects will only be available to clubs who have a grounds person registered with RGC.
