  • Prevent weed grasses and weed establishing.

Do not roll!

Method

  • Recover and replace divots
  • Lightly fork area around divot to alleviate compaction and smearing
  • For lighter soils, lightly rake surface before replacing divot

Practical Tips

  • Best completed by two to four people.  Sharing task ensures more detailed coverage.
  • Lift depressed turf and gentle pressing with the foot is the best way to return/replace divots.
  • Do not forget the linesman areas.
