Method:

Manually remove rubbish from pitch & sidelines.

Timing:

Directly after match.

Effects of Incorrect Procedure:

• Foreign objects left on the playing surface.
• Possible player injury.
• Aesthetically unappealing.

Equipment:

• Gloves.
• Waste bags.

Practical Tips:

• Best completed by 2 to 4 people. Sharing task ensures more detailed coverage.
• Encourage spectators to take their rubbish with them.
• Consider providing portable waste bins for spectator use.
